Crankshafts for compressors

Sidenor (Reinosa Works) is one of the leading international manufacturers of crankshafts. The production process is fully integrated, forming a specific manufacturing line.

Crankshafts are some of the most important parts of the engine. They are divided into two types:

  • C.G.F/monoblock (4 stroke diesel engine)
  • Built-up (2 stroke diesel engine)

C.G.F crankshafts for medium speed engines are used for marine propulsion, the nuclear sector, energy generation and auxiliary equipment while built-up crankshafts are used for low speed engines that are exclusively for marine propulsion.

Another key product that we produce are crankshafts for compressors, used in polyethylene plants, refineries and the petrochemical industry.

  • Power: ≥ 1500 kw.
  • Max. length: 8.5 metros.
  • Max. weight: 16 tons.
