Sidenor’s Calibrated Bars for shock absorbers use carbon steels that are cold-drawn or cold-drawn and turned. They are used in the manufacturing of various types of shock absorbers with critical surface quality demands.
Sidenor Brigth Steels:
- Supply of cold drawn bars and cold drawn+peeling/turning, based on customer needs.
- Rounds from 10 mm to 50 mm in diameter.
- Tolerance h9/h10/h11 in lengths from 2,800 to 7,000 mm.
- The bars may have 1 and/or 2 beveling/facing edges.
- Straightness between 0.5mm/m-2mm/m according to specifications.
- Package weight from 1,000Kg/1,500Kg.
- Material 100% controlled by circograph.
- European standard EN 10277-1 and customer specifications.
- Steels: C35, C40, C45.
