Environmental Management System

In order to ensure the results of any activity, the necessary processes must be implemented in order to enable efficient daily management and improvement.
Focussing on the environment and energy dimensions, SIDENOR has an aligned system, which is also certified according to ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standards and considers the analysis of all our industrial activities.

This decentralized management system is implemented transversally, across the entire organization. Each area is in charge of the identification, evaluation and management of its environmental aspects.

It is integrated with the other management systems

Each first quarter of each year, each production area plans the environment and energy actions to be carried out throughout the year.

These actions are divided in two projects: climate change and circular economy.

These projects are followed up by the top management in various committees.
