Sidenor will participate in the 24th International Forging Congress (IFC) 2025, which will be held from October 5 to 10 in Frankfurt, Germany. The company, which sponsors the event, will have its own stand where it will present its sustainable value proposition and innovative solutions.
On this occasion, Sidenor will not only participate in the exhibition area, but will also be part of the technical presentation program. More precisely, Roberto Elvira, Senior Researcher at Sidenor, will give the presentation “Design and selection of suitable Fe-Mn-Al-C low-density forging steels for massive components” on October 7 at 9:40 am.
The conference will address the potential and specificities of low-density Fe-Mn-Al-C steels for lightweighting forged components for the automotive sector, thus contributing to the decarbonization of transport and meeting the Paris Agreement goals.
