Sidenor 2022 Sustainability Report

98 Sustainability Report 2022 | People and talent managed by the areas concerned, whereby such modification and its subsequent reviews or modifications can be traced. IRIS project. This is a software for the digitization of Sidenor’s integrated management systems. It is currently under development and should be totally operational at the beginning of 2023 for the management of process map, the task evaluation for each work position, the analysis of detected critical tasks and the definition of failure mode and effects analysis and control range. This allows us to standardize all areas within a sole work system and to subsequently extract information in a direct manner. We intend to further implement this software during 2023, so as to gradually integrate all practices of Sidenor’s management system. In 2022, we reviewed the psychosocial risk evaluation in all our plants, which was accompanied by a high participation and results that allow us to estimate actions to further improve daily work. Safe work campaign in order to eliminate or reduce the use of hands in many daily tasks, so as to better protect our workers’ safety, focusing on the machines and devices instead of procedures. First aid training. We took advantage of the launch of defibrillators in all plants, which aims at helping any person suffering a health failure incident, to provide a great number of people with a training on how to act in any emergency as well as in a situation where they need to use the defibrillator. The training was intended for the production staff, but we have also extended it to the staff from general offices. During 2022, we initiated the negotiation on the Prevention Plan with workers representatives in order to improve the overall system and thus achieve a more active participation of the workers and their representatives. We are currently working on this Plan and expect to finalize negotiations over 2023.
