For this reason, no production or economic emergency situation may compromise the integrity of our workers, as indicated in Sidenor’s Integrated Policy . Led by the Management of Sidenor, with the participation of all workers and the support from the Prevention services, we thus continue to work in order to be a company which is every day safer and healthier, all of us committed to reaching the same objective - zero accident and zero occupational illness. For this purpose, we promote and foster a culture based on prevention and safety, where the involvement of the line of command and all workers is essential to reach this objective, and where we dedicate all our efforts to the various actions arising in the work of all of us – with the sole objective of eradicating accidents in the Company. This is reflected in our internal policies and through our strict compliance with the applicable health and occupational safety legislation, as well as in the requirements we set ourselves as a company. In addition, in line with our philosophy of continuous improvement, we learn from the most outstanding practices in the sector and implement them systematically in our centers and activities, maintaining regular contact with other companies so as to access the practices used in other big entities. We also provide the entire staff with specific prevention training so as to raise their awareness on the importance of this issue and align them with Sidenor’s strategies and objectives, as well as to fulfil legal and training requirements according to the regulations which are adopted year after year.
