Sidenor 2022 Sustainability Report

87 exponentially increase results, year after year, without losing sight of the gender focus, which is enabling the progressive inclusion of women in a sector which is traditionally male. To this end, it is important to identify training needs in order to establish the most appropriate measures in each moment and successfully face the challenges of the future. Continuous training We need to consider training at the workplace as a powerful tool to improve safety and quality standards, as well as the performance of the people who are part of Sidenor. In order to contribute to this, we have various tools which help us detect training needs in the different teams, including qualification matrices, by means of which the departments and support areas of Sidenor, together with the Human Resources department, reflect the training needs of each work position; the technical and development requirements obtained will enable a clear, easy and personalized definition of the specific profiles of each function. As part of Sidenor’s training project, one working team is specifically dedicated to updating, improving and adapting these qualification matrices, so that, with the help of other available tools, we might define the real needs of each work position.
