72 Sustainability Report 2022 | Environmental sustainability Investment distribution At Sidenor, we have a totally decentralized management system which is implemented transversally across the entire organization and ensures that environmental and energy efforts, commitments and targets are shared by all members of our staff. Sidenor’s commitment to environmental and energy improvement is not only reflected in the allocation of time and people to this endeavor, but also in the allocation of economic resources to meet our targets. Sidenor has not recognized provisions for possible environmental risks, as the Company considers that no significant contingencies exist concerning possible lawsuits, compensations or other items. Over the last ten years, we have dedicated over 40 million euros to the development of environmental and energy efficiency initiatives. This approach aims at optimizing our performance, improving our equipment and processes, but also our culture, developing training and awareness programs at all organization levels.
