65 During 2022, a total of 182,309 tons of waste was generated (162,475 tons in 2021). Among them, 165,002 tons correspond to non-hazardous waste and 17,307 tons to hazardous waste. 58% of the total amount of non- hazardous waste corresponds to black slag recovered in steel aggregate. For this product, we have various CE marking certificates which encompass its use as granular layers, bituminous mixtures and concretes. Sidenor has been working for years to ensure its preventive and responsible use. To this aim, the Company implements the three lines of action considered by the European Union to be the best available environmental techniques in its processes: A.
