63 Recycling Sidenor produces 100% of its steel from scrap. We recycle metal waste from downstream industries and products at the end of their lifespan in order to save energy, emissions and natural resources. We thus became one of the largest recyclers of ferrous waste, having consumed 751,030 tons of used materials in 2022 (802,687 in 2021). We have endorsed the Radiological Surveillance Protocol, which aims at establishing radiological surveillance requirements so as to prevent incidents from occurring as a result of radioactive materials in recycled metal materials.
