40 Sustainability Report 2022 | Good governance, ethics and transparency Strategy and good governance At Sidenor, we have a set of corporate policies which define and establish the principles, criteria and objectives that govern Company actions, and which help us develop all our activities in an honest, ethical, transparent and sustainable manner, always in compliance with the current legislation. Our corporate policies are made available not only to the staff but also to any interested third party, and the main policies of the Company can be accessed or consulted on its website. The monitoring of results or compliance with these policies is carried out by means of various indicators which are described throughout this document. Code of Ethics This document sets out the principles and values that govern our performance; it is key to the successful management of our business. These principles are the following: respect for the law, ethical integrity, respect for human rights and commitment to the prevention and eradication of child labor. Integrated policy This document encompasses our main policies, as we consider our activity as a whole, and includes Sidenor’s commitment to the health and safety of people, environmental protection, efficient energy use, the quality of its products and the proper management of information security. Healthy Company policy It defines the Company line of work in favor of workers health, as indicated by the World Health Organization, with a view to generating a better atmosphere in the Company and, thus, benefits for all parts.
