16 Sustainability Report 2022 | About us  Finalization of the Talent program (SIT2030) , which aims at promoting the development of the group identified as High Potentials, with the presentation of the three projects developed by Sidenor’s respective groups.  New milestone in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) implementation in Sidenor. CMMS operational start-up in Finishings – Basauri and in the Factory of Azkoitia.  The Occupational Health and Safety certification according to ISO 45001 standard is maintained for the fifth year in a row, including all factories, as well as certifications according to 14001 (Environment) and 50001 (Energy) standards , with excellent control, follow-up, participation and involvement results in the three certifications.  Renewal of the product environmental footprint calculation tool certification on the basis of ISO 14025, according to the international EPD system (Environmental Product Declaration).  Certification of the product environmental footprint calculation tool according to UNE-EN ISO 14067:2019 standard on greenhouse gases and carbon footprint of products. JULY  Successful first tests performed in Sidenor’s Basauri steel mill for replacing fossil coal with ecoke , a combustible including 30% renewable biomass, thus reducing our carbon footprint and, therefore, our environmental impact.  Successful conclusion of the industrial trials for monitoring during heating processes , and online, the residual thickness of refractory bricks in the steel mill ladles . This result enables broadening the knowledge on the behavior of refractories during their life cycle and thus optimizing their use while maintaining priority safety conditions.  Final presentation, within the framework of the “Room4Steel” business seminar led by SIDEREX, of the two projects developed by two students in Sidenor: “DIGILADLE”, which is related to the technique of thermography, and “GESTINNO”, which aims at the flexible and automatic Power BI-based management of research projects and proposals. AUGUST  Sidenor takes another step forward in energy management digitization by collaborating with Bigda Solutions and Datakorum (Telefónica) on the energy monitoring project in the factory of Basauri . SEPTEMBER  Sidenor acquires the company Mecanizados Cremalleras de Dirección – MCD , a production company
