115 Club Deportivo Basconia This is one of the historic football clubs in Biscay. An affiliate of the pro Athletic Club, this entity founded in 1913 trains different teams of boys and girls from Basauri of all ages. Sidenor sponsors the various sport activities of the C.D. BASCONIA during the 2022-2023 season. Atlético Basauri Balonmano Club The Atlético Basauri Balonmano Club is a non-profit organization which aims at promoting and organizing activities and competitions for the dissemination of handball. With its young squads, it allows the young people of Basauri and its region to practice this sport. The club is mainly composed of female teams but also includes mixed teams and one male team. In addition, it intends to be, as much as possible, a charity club, raising its players’ awareness on the various problems of other young people of their age. Club Portugalete As part of its traditional commitment to youth, culture and sport, the Club Portugalete works with grassroots and federated football teams on the organization of regular competitions and tournaments, social activities with various non-profit organizations and sports activities with the Portugalete town hall office of sport. This year, Sidenor sponsors, with its logo, the wear of the female grassroots football team. Basauri Harrobi ISM Futbol Kluba Sidenor will act as a sponsor of the various school sport activities managed by the recently founded Club Basauri Harrobi, through the conclusion of a collaboration agreement between the Indartsu Club and U.D. San Miguel clubs, within the framework of the 2022-2023 season. The Basauri Harrobi school encourages a new, non-commercialization economic model of school sport, providing for free subscription, with no tuition or fees. In addition, the football school project is based on four main pillars: “euskalduna”, popular, formative and based on parity.
