Sidenor 2021 Sustainability Report. Non-financial information statement
85 To this end, it is important to identify training needs in order to establish the most appropriate measures in each moment and to successfully face the challenges of the future. Continuous training We need to consider training at the workplace as a powerful tool to improve safety and quality standards, as well as the performance of the people who are part of Sidenor. In order to contribute to this, we have various tools which help us detect training needs in the different teams, among which the qualification matrices, by means of which the departments and support areas of Sidenor, together with the Human Resources department, reflect the training needs of each work position; the technical and development requirements obtained will enable a clear, easy and personalised definition of the specific profiles of each function. As part of Sidenor’s training project, one working team is specifically dedicated to updating, improving and adapting these qualification matrices, so that, with the help of other available tools, we might define the real needs of the each work position. In addition, the TND (Training Needs Detection) process was launched in 2020; it enables employees to identify trainings which they find of interest. This tool guides us in the design of training plans, so that training courses might be more efficient and better adapted to the real needs of our employees.
