73 PHYNIX, green hydrogen Sidenor works together with PHYNIX, the first European independent green hydrogen producer, to define competitive migration solutions, in its facilities, in order to reach carbon neutrality by using green hydrogen as a zero- emission raw material. The Basque Hydrogen Corridor The Basque Hydrogen Corridor aims at creating an ecosystem of hydrogen, based in Euskadi, in order to advance in the decarbonisation of the energy, industrial, housing and mobility sectors. The project originates in Repsol’s strategic decision to turn Euskadi into a hydrogen hub, as one of the transit pillars towards a green production economy. This initiative includes, among others, the economic, social, technological and environmental dimensions, thanks to an investment of over 1,300 million euros until 2026, generating over 1,340 direct jobs and 6,700 indirect jobs. BENORTH 2 , a pioneer in H 2 generation and distribution Sidenor positions itself as an industrial user of the green hydrogen plant BenortH 2 , the first plant with such characteristics in Euskadi and Spain.
