The governments of countries from all over the world are committed to a sustainable future by 2030. Sidenor intends to contribute to the fight against climate change through the gradual decarbonisation of its processes. At Sidenor, we work to define increasingly sustainable targets, with the entire chain of value in view. These targets have the following aims:  Complying with our internal commitment to continuous improvement, which is enshrined in our Integrated Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality, Energy and Information Security Policy.  Anticipating and adapting to climate risks which affect our activity.  Seizing the opportunities brought by the coming changes.  Measuring the financial impacts of climate change according to various scenarios and possible futures.  Meeting the expectations of the current society, which requires real solutions.  Meeting the expectations of our stakeholders in terms of climate information and transparency, mainly required by our customers.  Manufacturing products which are sustainable and environmentally friendly. According to this policy, Sidenor published in 2021 its environmental goals defined in parallel to EU intentions and commitments and made 100% (Core + Upstream) carbon- neutral steel available to its customers.
