On a regular and ongoing basis, the Environment and Energy staff reports and brings the Management’s attention to the main aspects to consider and to the main indicators. Each production area is in charge of the identification, evaluation and improvement of its environmental impacts. And each one of them, with the support and orientations of the Environment manager of each plant, develops action plans to improve environmental and energy performance as the basis for our entire management system. This totally decentralised management system is implemented transversally, across the entire organisation, which ensures that environmental and energy efforts, commitments and targets are shared by all members of our staff. This commitment is not only reflected in the allocation of time and people to environmental performance, but also in the allocation of economic resources to meet our targets. Over the last ten years, we have dedicated over 35 million euros to the development of environmental and energy efficiency initiatives. This approach aims at optimising our performance, improving our equipment and processes, but also our culture, developing training and awareness programmes at all organisation levels.
