38 Sustainability Report 2021 | Good governance, ethics and transparency Strategy and good governance At Sidenor, we have various policies which help us develop our activities in an honest, ethical, transparent and sustainable manner, always in compliance with the current legislation. These corporate policies are made available not only to the staff but also to any interested third party, and the main policies of the Company can be accessed or consulted on its website. The monitoring of results or compliance with these policies is carried out by means of various indicators which are described throughout this document. Code of Ethics This document sets out the principles and values that govern our performance; it is key to the successful management of our business. These principles are the following: respect for the law, ethical integrity, respect for human rights and commitment to the prevention and eradication of child labour. Integrated policy This document encompasses our main policies, as we consider our activity as a whole, and includes our Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality and Energy as well as Information Security policies. In 2021, the Company Management adjust the Integrated Policy so as to include good practices in information security management as one target more among the existing objectives, considering the work which is being carried out in this field at the Company. For this purpose, Sidenor’s current Integrated Policy has included, since 2021, the commitment of the Company to information security management, thus ensuring information confidentiality, integrity and availability and promoting efforts aiming at guaranteeing the efficiency of processes in the area of information security as well.
