17  Renewal of the product environmental footprint calculation tool certification according to the ISO 14025 standard and the requirements of the Product Category Rules “Basic iron or steel products & special steels, except construction products” of the International EPD® system. This tool enables us to calculate the carbon footprint, CORE and UPSTREAM, for over 600 steel qualities.  Finalisation of the integral management of refractory waste valorisation with the implementation of the By-products project, which consists in the systematic separation of isostatic refractories in order to reuse them and avoid their landfilling.  Closure of the first edition of the Bideratu 4.0 programme , which consists in valuing and strengthening the essential role of facilitators within Sidenor. This programme, developed in cooperation with the Mondragon Unibersitatea, aims at providing the participants with the necessary skills to proactively participate in the management and leadership of their teams in the environment of Industry 4.0.
