15 major responsibilities at Sidenor in the context of Industry 4.0. JUNE  The Company obtains a new ISO 45001 certification n occupational health and safety as a second certification in four years, as well as the 14001 certification on environment and the 500001 certification on energy , in an integrated manner.  Sidenor celebrates the month of sustainable ideas, in which all employees of Sidenor are invited to register in the IDEAS software suggestions regarding energy efficiency, recycling, reuse, etc., which contribute to turn Sidenor into a more efficient and sustainable company and, consequently, the planet into a cleaner and better place. JULY  The strategic project SCRAPTEC is approved within the Hazitek 2021 call. It aims at developing a new integral platform which enables the accurate and continuous supervision and management of the quality of the raw materials used, with the objective of reducing CO 2 emissions in the steel sector.  Launch of the 44SMn28 HP steel family, which has a higher performance than conventional 44SMn28 steels in high-strength applications, maintaining an optimal machining behaviour.  The sports society Amorebieta and Sidenor conclude an agreement according to which the Company will be the Club’s main sponsor during the 2021-2022 season. SEPTEMBER  Sidenor joins the Industria Erronka project , led by FVEM, which intends to bring industry closer to the young people of Biscay, in order to awaken STEM vocations and show the importance of industry as a driver for the economy of Biscay and Euskadi.  We further digitalise the factory of Basauri, launching the new department . Over the last five years, and with the help of investments, a large industrial transformation was carried out in order to undertake various strategic projects. Once these investments were finalised, the production control systems were updated so as to accompany this technological renovation.
