Purchasing department structure At Sidenor, we promote social and ethical development and encourage our suppliers to work towards the same goals by endorsing the CSR policy of the Company. The new CSR published in 2019 replaces the previous Declaration of Commitment (DC). Apart from fostering compliance with the fundamental principles of the International Labour Organisation which are already included in the current DC, the new CSR is a step forward in the commitment to safety and health at work, the environment, fair competition as well as integrity and honesty in business activities. Through the new supplier portal, all suppliers of Sidenor are required to endorse the CSR policy in order to remain registered. Sidenor’s purchasing department is divided into three Management Areas: Scrap, pig iron, pre-reduced metals Metals Energy (electricity and gas) Environment Productive material (ferroalloys, electrodes, lime, refractories...) Spare parts (bearings, tools, packing...) Internal services (contracts) External services (machining, repair...) Administrative services (IT, mailing, legal...) Logistics (internal and external) Purchasing
