They are used for specific applications for the manufacturing of automotive components such as crankshafts, piston rods and gears.
Supplied in the following dimensions:
- 20-29 mm DIN1013
- 29-100 mm 1/3 DIN1013
- 100-230 mm 1/2 DIN1013
The rolled bars may be supplied:
- Without thermal treatment – stress relieved – annealed (sub critical, spheroidizing, isothermal) – normalized – quenched and tempered (conventional and induction) – hyper tempered (stainless steels).
Other specifications:
- Lengths from 3,000 to 9,000 mm w/o thermal treatment. End of the bars: possibility of beveling/facing/shearing/sawing. Based on the transformation and/or use of the products. Surface defect inspection is performed 100% under s/ EN 10221 or especific requirements.
- Internal defects: we guarantee compliance with SEP1920 class C standards; EN 10.228-3 class 4; SAE-AMS-STD-2154 class B; OENORM-M3002 class 3; SEP1921 class Ee; EN 10308:2002. Stricter requirements are available upon request.
