Throughout the year, we draw tickets among Sidenor’s employees, so that they may attend its events, as well as the other cultural and sporting activities that we sponsor. New ROOM4STEEL seminar at the Engineering school of Bilbao As part of our commitment to training, Sidenor has worked together with the Engineering School of Bilbao and SIDEREX on launching a new business seminar dedicated to steelmaking, named ROOM4STEEL. The Engineering School of Bilbao’s business seminars are lab-seminars created and financed by companies in order to promote their R&D&i activities. They are a useful instrument of cooperation between the School and the companies, both in terms of research, technological development and innovation activities, and training intended for engineering students or in activities linked to recycling, as well as continuing company staff training. On this occasion, the new seminar will focus on steelmaking knowledge areas and might result in scientific research or technological development programmes and projects; lectures, workshops and training days; exchange of teachers, experts and professionals; post-graduate programmes; experimental and research studies in mixed working groups; or final Degree/ Master projects and doctoral theses, among other activities. Master in Materials Engineering Through Sidenor R&D, we collaborate with the University of the Basque Country in this training programme, providing training on key contents in this field. This Master gives direct access to the Doctoral Programme in Materials and Sustainable Processes Engineering.
