55 R Reeducation The application of our environmental policy is led by the Environmental Affairs department, yet the commitments undertaken in this area are assumed in all other areas of Sidenor. Focusing on ongoing improvement, each one of them reviews training needs annually and proposes a series of learning and awareness activities at all levels in order for everyone, especially new hires, to become aligned with the goals established. Some of the subjects handled in the course of over one hundred training activities included the Environmental Management System, waste management, legal environmental requirements for waste management authorities and facilitators, hazardous goods transport and the handling and storage of chemicals.
