16 Corporate Report 2020 | About us As a consequence of the COVID-19 situation, we have established a protocol of action which mainly aims at combining production activity and the highest health protection for people working at Sidenor. The most important of these priorities are the following: 1. Implementing preventive hygienic measures. 2. Controlling the spread of the virus. 3. Complying with the social and/or labour measures defined by the authorities as well as measures that might be issued in the future. 4. Preserving the safe and healthy environment of industrial activity. In order to comply with the aforementioned protocol and its priorities, we have established a series of measures in the following areas: access controls, personal hygiene, cleaning and disinfection of facilities, attention to particularly vulnerable people, general and specific organisation measures, and mode of action in case of suspected positive cases. This protocol must be complied with by the entire staff as well as contract workers and visitors, and is regularly updated according to legislative changes. Apart from this protocol, we have launched other actions in view of COVID-19: COVID-19 Creation of an Inter-plant Crisis Committee, which is coordinated by the CEO and remains in constant contact with the factories. Suspension of trips and face-to-face meetings. Management and collection of the necessary means in order continue working and preserve a total safety and health in our activity. Establishment of a Contingency Plan per factory, defining specific measures for each of them. Regular follow-up of the measures adopted so as to ensure that they are sufficient to guarantee the health of our workers. Coordinated work with the institutions in order to guarantee workers health in the work as well as social/ personal area.
