JULY   We make our first steps in the additive manufacturing technology through the ACEWAAM project, in cooperation with ADDILAN, a leading company in WAAM (Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing) technology, for the production of massive components with high requirements. We will thus develop specific products for additive manufacturing and seek to become a reference supplier in this growing sector.   Establishment of the new thermal treatment workshop at the Basauri Metallurgical Laboratory, with an investment of 760,000 euros. This investment enables us to adapt the lab’s thermal treatment facilities in order to increase capacity, improve ergonomics and safety and adjust them to the extension of rolled round bar products in the MN mill at Basauri after the phase II-investment performed in 2020.   The initiative we are leading together with the start- up Kevo Technologies is selected as as best start- up project at the fourth BIND 4.0 edition.
