76 Corporate report 2019 | Society Our activity in 2019 contributed directly and indirectly to the economy of local communities. In addition to the nearly 1,700 jobs that we generate, many more are created around our activities, which strengthens our position as a pioneer company in the regions where we are present. Likewise, we do business with over 2,000 suppliers, around 90% of which are national and 66% belong to the local sphere, thus fostering a purchase model based on proximity. IMPRINT ON SOCIETY Associations At Sidenor, we strongly believe that “together, we are stronger”. We therefore try to establish synergies and participate in various sectoral as well as professional associations.
