45 Sidenor participates in the TRACEX project, which aims at developing an advanced digital platform that provides functionalities in order to increase traceability and resource efficiency along the value chain, reduce the costs linked to logistics and improve the exchange of information between concerned a ctors, so as to optimise the different operations in the value chain. The application of our environmental policy is led by the Environmental Affairs department, yet the commitments undertaken in this area are assumed in all areas of the Group. With the focus on ongoing improvement, each one of them reviews training needs annually and proposes a series of learning and awareness activities at all levels in order for everyone, especially new hires, to become aligned with the goals established. Some of the subjects handled in the course of over one hundred training activities were the Environmental Management System, waste management, legal environmental requirements for waste management authorities and facilitators, hazardous goods transport and the handling and storage of chemicals, among others. e-education Leader in the HORDAGO project 5 Sidenor leads the HORDAGO project, which mainly aims at developing smart gas industrial furnaces that are connected to 4.0 industrial processes in order to optimise their availability as well as operational and energy performance.
